For the Public

Links, including members' websites. If any members want their web sites linked to from here please send me an email.

Picture Albums. This "public access" collection of pictures allows anyone, whether an AIMS member or not, to view the pictures. The pictures are managed by (1)category and (2)albums. So far we have just one category, "members", and within that category we have an album for each photographer. Note that each picture generally has 3 sizes: thumbnail, individual, and full. By moving the mouse around you can find the hot spots, allowing you to change albums, pictures and displays quite easily. If you know the standard id and password you can sign in to add and delete pictures and albums.

Calendar, including AIMS meetings. This "public access" calendar allows anybody, whether an AIMS member or not, to view and add activities. By moving your mouse around you can find the hot spots that allow you to manipulate the calendar fairly easily - don't be afraid to experiment.

Tutorial. This is included for anyone who wants a short tutorial on how this site got started and some of the content on it. It also includes some screen shots from different areas on the site.

For AIMS Members
(password required)

This section includes the following areas:
1) Minutes. This a copy of the original minutes, as compared with the edited minutes often found in the Beacon.
2) Reports. Committees and sometimes individual members submit reports on their activities and research.
3) Membership. A list of the current members, along with contact information.

When you try to enter the members area you will be asked for our standard userid and password. If you don't know the userid and password, email me and I'll give them to you. Depending on what you are doing(especially updating forum stuff), you may need to enter the same information a second time. Just use the same userid and password again - it's due to having some of the applications in separate directories. Once you have accessed the members' area, your browser remembers that you've signed in until you close the browser itself.
